Description
A very beautiful, large shrub. In season producing a shower of rich, clear pink flowers throughout the foliage. Indeed this family of shrubs produces such an abundance of flowers as to suggest a tropical environment, hence closely associated to the exotic. The shrub will stand up to remarkably low temperatures, but they need warmth and sunlight to flower properly. Camellias dislike limy or chalky soils, and a lime-free crumbly soil and sheltered space is ideal for their growth. Suggested Uses
